明天便到德國旅行去，未來十數天也沒法子update，唯有預告明天的行裝吧 :P 旅行最大的煩惱是要去預備衣物… 月尾到瑞士去，只有幾天break給我準備行裝呀!? 今天交了Final assessment，內容講述超級大牌的復古懷舊風如何曲解（我激動得在標題用上了謀殺Murder一字 Haa）真正的Vintage spirit，為了這份功課，我還特意到市內的vintage shop做訪問。全英文的，真的不要在這獻醜了… 有時間才translate過來吧！see ya <3

Asian Model Sparkle: Du Juan

看到大牌的東方inspired fashion design愈吹愈勁，Givenchy在Spring 2011 Couture collection中只使用Asian Model，真令人不禁思疑亞洲時裝界是否真正的堀起？我也不知道，但肯定的是，一班中國藉model已在發光發亮。雖然以下的文章只是我整合一下東拼西湊找來的資料，但也期待人們花點時間看看吧 :> (還未有時候translate回中文，暫且忍耐我那9唔搭8的英文吧）

Asian model are not one-hit-wonder anymore!

Du Juan, a veritable model born in China, first debuted at Chanel couture in 2006, walked the runways for Valentino and Gaultier, appeared in campaigns like Louis Vuitton, Armani. But do Asian model is just an one-hit-wonder?

Everybody in the fashion industry recognizes the importance of global markets, especially China and South Korea. ‘‘There’s been a very significant rise and demand towards the Asian look in the last five years.” Stephen Lee from New York’s NEXT Model Management said. Du Juan also said, ‘‘There still are brands or clients that would not consider using an Asian model, but things are changing dramatically and quickly.”

As one of the few successful Asian models. ‘‘I feel the pressure to do well, work harder and to make sure I represent Chinese models well internationally.” Du Juan said. To the western country, Chinese women symbolized the traditional beauty — big, round eyes, cute small mouth, a high nose, and very fair skin. Rise of Du Juan is modernizing the concept of beauty in China. As a Chinese, I'm excited to see the rise of Du Juan which is symbolizing Fashion industry is truly became global-oriented, Asian model is alive and kicking!

College Girl

有人會認為風格鮮明可以吸引更多人/ target audience留意，但我其實是一個很隨心的人。我主張一種由心出發的態度，不妨留意當下的latest trend，也不妨買入seasonal best pick，潮流潮流，沒有人buy也不成氣候吧？時尚還是時裝？向來人們也claim這是一門藝術，如果藝術家可以把思想投射於作品上，我把個人心情投射在衣著上有何不可？苟日新，日日新。這風格最鮮明不過了 :>

Even spring summer is approaching, but my mind assured me that it doesn't matter to move a little bit back to F/W2010 50s style. Belted-waist symbolized the 1947 NEW LOOK's hourglass silhouette. Vintage and 50s style will never be deteriorated in the fashion cycle, say NO to the declining stage!!

Nostalgia

Knee length creamy white stocking (50p only!). It's definitely the best friend of oxford shoes. By pulling back all the 50s 60s 70s vintage style, what you can't miss is a pair of lovely stocking.
